Facilities and Equipment
Our staff at Family Eyecare pride themselves in providing the highest quality eyecare available. In order to stay on the cutting edge of eyecare technology, we have recently added the latest in computerized equipment to our facility. Our Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer measures the sensitivity of the retina and can detect diseases such as glaucoma and brain tumors in the early stages. We have also added a computerized auto refractor-keratometer to assist us in giving you a precise measurement for eyeglasses and contact lenses. To process your eyeglasses quickly and precisely, we have recently purchased a computerized lens edging machine.
In the past year we have modernized our dispensary and added new frame lines including Brooks Brothers, Hushpuppies, Easytwist, Vogue, Eddie Bauer, Charmant, Covergirl, Flexon, Mademoiselle, Nike, Esprit, and a new line of titanium frames. We also have a great new selection of children`s eyewear including Spiderman frames. We use lenses of the highest quality available such as the new Varilux Comfort progressive lenses, the Transitions line of changeable lenses, and Crizal, the finest anti-reflective lenses available. We also carry a large line of designer sunglasses with names like Costa Del Mar, Elle, Guess, Rodeo, and Anne Klein. If sports eyewear is what you`re looking for, we have an excellent selection of recreational eyewear by Rec Specs and others.
