We have a number of special instruments for more elaborate testing as needed. Some of this equipment includes retinal photography, visual fields, PAM, auto refractor, GDX glaucoma testing, and pachymetry. We have a special room setup for wheelchair patients so they do not need to leave their chair for the exam. Our contact lens department has the most up to date lenses available today. Our doctors will help fit you with the lenses best suited for your needs. We have soft, hard, gas permeable, piggy back, bifocal, monovision, and other specialty contact lenses as well. Many contacts we are able to fit you the same day as exam. We also here teach patients how to insert and remove their contacts away from the business of our normal office activity. We have an in house optical lab that can handle many of your eyeglass needs accurately and quickly. Some insurances require us to have the job finished in other labs, but our lab allows us to watch over the quality and extras that you may require. Our lab personel are highly qualified with many years of experience behind them to help you receive the best materials possible. We have a large dispensary from which you can chose many styles of quality eyewear. Our optical personel can help achieve the proper measurements you need to be successful with your new glasses. Repairs and adjustments to existing frames are also available as well. Dr. Mark Mathews attended North Georgia College and the University of Georgia in the years 1968-1971. He received his doctor of optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Tennessee in 1975. He is a board certified optometric physician who has practiced in his own office in Port Richey for over 21 years. Prior to that he worked as an optometrist in Cedartown, Georgia and at St. Luke`s in Tarpon Springs. He holds a license to practice in both Georgia and Florida. Call us at 727-819-0440
