The Bayou Dance Club opened its doors February 1998, offering the finest in quality, affordable dance instruction for all ages, our dedicated teachers are highly trained in all styles of Ballroom and Latin Dancing and make you feel at ease in our fun and friendly setting, in your private lessons, you will receive intense, personalized instruction in the art of partner dancing. Your instructor will help you to master the correct way to hold yourself and relate to your partner. |

Bayou Dance Club
Mario & Julie Drobny (owners)
Mario began his dance careet in 1980. He received extensive training in International Latin and Standard in Europe where he also held the title of Latin Champion of Czechoslovakia for three consecutive years. In 1990, Mario came to the United States where he re received his training in American Rhythm and Smooth. He opened Bayou Dance Club with his wife Julie in 1998. Julie began dancing in 1993 and began her teaching career with the opening of Bayou Dance Club.
Group dance lessons
In your Group Classes, you will receive an introduction to the social experience of partner dancing and a chance to become familiar with a variety of step patterns. As you rotate partners throughout the class, you will practice your steps with a number of different people and begin to get acquainted with your classmates.
Practice parties
In your Practice Parties you are encouraged to practice what you have learned in your Private Lessons and Group Classes. Frequent attendance at these Parties will give you the repetition everyone needs to learn a new skill, and the confidence to use your skill in other settings.
Dance competitions
Competitive Dancers have the chance to test their skills against other dancers at their same level and age category. Competitions are held throughout the year both locally and out-of-state.
Fun trips
You can choose from an array of trips; weekend getaways, week long cruises, gambling getaways, or a trip abroad. Bayou Dance Club has been to the most exciting cities in the World. Trips are a great way to see beautiful places with a warm and friendly group of people.
Social outings
If you are ready to meet a lot of wonderful people and have a great time, then our Social Outings are for you. We offer all types of outings; Dinner and Dancing, Cocktails and Dancing, Picnics, Broadway Type Shows, Dinner Cruises, Beach Outings, Holiday Parties and much much more. These outings give you a chance to meet people and gain the confidence you need to help you in your dancing.
