Marquis Costruction & dev Inc. started in 1988
The founder and president Chris Kavala has been in contracting since 1979. Starting in Pennsylvania and completing over 300 housing units and commercial projects. Since relocating to Florida in 1984, became licensed in 1986 was involved in construction of custom homes, condominiums, villas, restaurants, daycare centers, equipment buildings and various commercial rehab projects. Became licensed in the State of Louisiana in 1998 and since completed various residential and commercial projects there.
In 2000 became an authorized EPA “Energy Star” Builder and made the commitment to construct only buildings using Structural Insulated Panels that comply with the requirements of the EPA’s Energy Star Program.
We currently hold Residential and Commercial Contracting Licenses in the State of Florida, (license # CBC 036455) and in the State of Louisiana (license # 33845). We carry General Liability insurance and stay in compliance with Worker’s compensation insurance in both states.
Our ENERGY STAR qualified new homes are independently verified by a third-party Home Energy Rater to ensure they meet ENERGY STAR energy efficiency guidelines. These homes are better for the environment and better for you.
