Since 1988, Tampa Language Center has spent thousands of classroom hours training business executives, local and foreign company employees and their spouses in English and foreign languages. Our English students have included adults and children from many countries, e.g.: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Holland, Israel, Japan, Poland, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, and Spain. |

Tampa Language Center
Tampa Language Center is a private school which offers different types of language classes like English, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, and others to adults and children. Students come here because they want to speak correctly and fluently. Tampa Language Center offers beginning to advanced levels and also specializes courses for business, teachers or professional personnel. Students can study for 2 to 15 hours per week, in the morning, afternoon, or evening. The classes are pleasant, productive and affordable with three to seven students in a group.
Learning a language is more complicated than most people realize. The sounds of the language, the grammar and the vocabulary must be learned and also practiced in real conversation.
We have seen our beginning students reach the advanced level in 100-150 hours of class, but they will continue to improve as they use the language in future years. Our 16-hour course is a convenient step and each student decides when his/her goal has been reached.
All teachers have degrees in languages or education and are bilingual. They all have experience living in other countries and understand the process of learning a new language and adjusting to a new culture. They take personal interest in the success of their students.

ampa Language Center has classes all year long except for two weeks of holiday vacation. Most Spanish classes meet in the evening from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. English classes meet in the morning, afternoon or evening, and students can choose from 2 - 15 hours per week. New groups are formed as needed.
There is no credit for absence but we can usually suggest a similar class to make up hours that you miss. Please call the Center before or after you miss a class to talk to your teacher or the director. Call us at
